The Project Manager (PM) is the driving force behind the successful delivery of client projects on time, on budget, and within scope. As the primary point of communication, the Project Manager is pivotal in ensuring alignment between our clients and the internal project team. A successful candidate will have excellent communication and relationship-building skills. The PM must impart a partnership philosophy to clients, owning problems, caring about outcomes, and working to get the best out of people and projects.

We are interested in candidates based in the EMEA region, with a preference for the greater London area. SalesPage is a US-based FinTech. We have employees local to Kalamazoo and remote employees across the US and globally. SalesPage is currently in the process of expanding its operations globally.

Job requirements and responsibilities

  • Ability to manage and adapt to a diverse team spanning multiple regions.

  • Manage the scope, schedule, and budget of client projects.

  • Serve as the primary point of communication for accounts. Including effectively communicating and building relationships with various internal and external stakeholders such as clients, management, analysts, developers, testers, etc.

  • Ability to proactively manage client expectations and ensure that SalesPage meets commitments or resets expectations as required.

  • Ability to identify potential misunderstandings and clear them up expeditiously.

  • Proactive follow-up on open issues and project dependencies. Track and ensure timely closure.

  • Create materials best suited to and to best track the project to completion, such as spreadsheets, Microsoft project plans, status reports, approvals, roadmaps, etc.

  • Create, organize, prioritize, and assign JIRA tickets for project work such as new tasks, support issues, etc. Daily checks to manage tickets and ensure work is progressing on schedule.

  • Effectively represent SalesPage to our clients, third-party vendors, and partners. Engage directly with clients daily and use various means of communication to be successful such as Zoom meetings, preparing and giving PowerPoint presentations, emails, etc.

  • Proactively manage project risk. Communicate issues to senior management as needed.

  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge of best practices by using professional development methods such as educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking for state-of-the-art practices, and participating in professional societies.

  • This position will require the successful candidate to be intermittently available during off hours when needed to support clients during deployments or times of urgency.

Job qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or related experience in a related field, such as management or computer systems is preferred. Understanding of the Asset Management industry and data feed providers is not required but is desirable.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, influencing, and relationship skills.

  • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and troubleshooting skills.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills capable of collaborating with large and diverse project teams.

  • Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours to accommodate meetings in different time zones.

  • Ability to travel globally, as required by SalesPage and our clients.
