Project Coordinator Intern

The Project Coordinator Intern is a Project Manager in training. Under the guidance of a Project Manager, the Project Coordinator Intern is responsible for managing custom software project execution within the constraints of scope, quality, time and cost, to meet specified requirements and help to assure customer satisfaction.

Job requirements

  • Provide administrative support for Project Managers.
  • Facilitate the flow of job-related materials for the Project Manager to the development and/or quality assurance departments.
  • Coordinate and manage details associated with project schedules and scope. Update plans with actuals, forecasts; help communicate and manage deviations from plan.
  • Facilitate communications to all project team members, under the direction of the Project Manager. Communicate issues to the next level of management.
  • Ensure that all project requirements and/or objectives are properly documented and tracked to completion.
  • Ensure completion of all project documentation and archiving of appropriate records.
  • Coordinate technical support efforts to effectively diagnose and correct reported support issues.

Job qualifications

  • Working towards a bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, finance or computer information systems.
  • A strong work ethic.
  • Very strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks when working on multiple projects.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, with little or no direct supervision. Must be a self-starter and eager to support teammates.
  • Work equally well as part of a team.
