SalesPage Spring 2019: It’s all about the data

Putting pieces of data together yields intelligence

At SalesPage, we help you master your data. Our just-out SalesPage Spring 2019 release provides better ways to get data into SalesPage quickly and to make consolidated data easy to share consistently with other systems.

Consolidate data quickly, adjust on the fly, share

New in this release, the Flexible Import tool puts you in charge of importing and consolidating broker-dealer packs and local market share data with your master client data. In the past, you had to rely on development resources every time changes came up; that’s no longer the case.

  • Start with a template. Our library includes templates for handling most asset management entity and market data sources. These templates evolve constantly, every time these sources change.
  • Validate how data is mapped to firms, offices, reps, partnerships, and teams; adjust as needed, using tools in SalesPage. Some sources change nearly every time you get data from them. Now, you can validate that the data is going to the right spots every time, and adjust before it’s imported.
  • Define rules for how data is used to add information or update it. Set the attributes you want to use for searching, those you’ll always want to see, and those you’ll want to share with other systems.
  • Let systematic processing make the magic happen, then see your data immediately. You can review it in SalesPage, but you can also export it for use in other systems as needed. Importing identifies potential relationships between your master client data and the incoming data, and scores those potential links. It can even link some incoming data to master data automatically when the assigned scores exceed established thresholds. It’s easy to create standard outbound files containing your consolidated data, whenever you need them.

Gain control over
trade and asset data validation and transformation

Our rulesets empower you to define much of the validation and transformation that occur when trade and asset data is imported to SalesPage. You can now update a specific value on matching records in incoming data at a specific point in the systematic processing cycle. That means you can time transformations explicitly, so you have more precise control of what happens to the data and when.

You also now have more flexibility to adjust the territories assigned to trades when necessary. We’ve improved our toolset for realigning territories assigned to trades, so that you can use the current territory set or the one active on the trade’s posting or trade date to update selected trades.
